Timbers Resorts is a luxury real estate company headquartered in Winter Park, FL but with locations across the US and internationally. I joined as their graphic designer which included all normal design expectations and managing certain partner and vendor relationships. This resulted in me working very closely with vendors and marketing directors both creatively and technically.
Print design & logistics
During my time at Timbers I was the on staff designer but also would handle most printer and vendor communication and logistics. This would include direct communication, quotes, spot checks, deciding materials, sizes, etc. and brainstorming creative projects like the following:
The annual Timbers holiday card was discussed as a group and once a direction was decided I got to work making a design and a prototype to hand off to our printer which would be a trifold card with die cut letters revealing water colors underneath made by a local artist of every property in the collection. The watercolor panel also featured a perforated fold so owners could keep it for display or pass it on as a postcard themselves to share. I handled all the aspects of managing this project from designing the card to deciding finishes and supplying a mailing list.

A big part of my day-to-day included working with the properties to create marketing materials and collateral for the resorts. Timbers Kaua’i was a property I worked with a lot and created many different items including; product packaging, promotional materials and a new menu for the on-site farm-to-table restaurant: Hualani's. Nalu's was a food spot located in Timbers Kaua’i looking for different signage and solutions for their team. I designed vinyl graphics for chalkboard headers and created a stencil kit with their brand fonts to write messages cleanly and efficiently. There was a need for signage to direct people to the hut and I came up with a concept to use an actual surfboard with the branding added to accomplish this.

Beer Can Label
Timbers was in need of a beer can label designed for their South Carolina property on Kiawah Island & partnered with Foothills Brewing to make & package the brew.
The stripes are an iconic element with the Kiawah branding and I wanted something that would stand out and represent the resort regardless if it was seen at the restaurant or locally.
Meier Snowboard
During the winter months I was tasked with creating a custom snowboard as a corporate gift and worked with Meier to create the board to their specs and standards.
Meier is known for their high quality wood core skis and boards so I made sure to feature their wood in the design like most of their custom designs and transitioned the sunburst and plane into the wood.
